Upon listing a property, they send a color postcard with photographs and a complete description of the property to several thousand people (i.e., active buyers, prospective buyers, former open house attendees, neighbors, etc.). The postcard mailings usually coincide with the first open house and are mailed several days prior to the property officially going on the market.
